Located in the hub of Rosebank and only a walking distance away from the Rosebank Gautrain station, you find yourself in the middle of the cosmopolitan city of Johannesburg. With the Hyatt’s convenient location you have easy access to the Firs shopping centre and the banking district.
On arrival at the Hyatt Regency I was escorted up to my spacious deluxe room, Boasting our African culture, the room consists of an entrance hall, living room, master bedroom and walk in bathroom. The room is equipped with tech savvy amenities and a wifi signal that could stretch the whole of Johannesburg.
Between 6pm-8pm the hotel offers complimentary drinks and canapés on the 8th floor, giving one the opportunity to indulge in tantalising treats and admire the African sunset in the heart of Johannesburg.
There is also the choice of dining at the Hyatt’s oneNINEone restaurant that has recently launched its new menu. I had the privilege of tasting almost everything on the said menu and can’t wait to share my recommendations on my next Foodie post about the restaurant itself.
As for breakfast, whether you have a 9am business conference or a flight to catch, trust assured oneNINEone’s breakfast spread will have you nourished. You will be left completely satisfied and ready to conquer the day. From your standard continental spread, endless fruit options, yogurts, cereals, pastries and freshly squeezed juices I couldn’t help but dive straight into the donut tray because when last did you have a glazed donut for breakfast? I promised myself one bite. It turns out that was the biggest lie I’ve ever told myself.
The warm breakfast offers an array of eggs cooked to your liking, baked beans, quiche, mushrooms and the works. If there is something specific you feel like the chefs in the open kitchen are more than happy to accommodate your requests.
After that 9 am meeting be sure to check out the AMANI spa located on the 6th floor. This is the perfect place to help take your mind off a stressful day or if you’re just feeling like you deserve a “me” day, the staff are friendly and inviting and ready to make you feel relaxed and pampered. Check out their website to see the different packages they offer this winter and maybe during your next stay you can unwind with an aroma massage.
This winter why not take your loved one to the Hyatt Regency where a couple’s stay will cost you R2500 per night and includes:
